The story of one of the most fascinating races in the world. 🏁

It was after the failure to award the Italian Grand Prix in Brescia that in 1926 the so-called “four musketeers”, that is, four young car and racing enthusiasts, thought of creating a race.
The Mille Miglia was a long-distance road car competition held in Italy in 24 editions between 1927 and 1957. It was a road speed race starting and finishing in Brescia in which the competitors reached Rome through central and northern Italy. .
The name of the race derives from the length of the route;  in fact, despite various variations over the years, it remained approximately 1600 kilometers long, equivalent to approximately one thousand imperial miles.
Since 1977, the Mille Miglia has been revived in the form of a historical regularity race in stages whose participation is reserved for cars, produced before 1957, which had participated (or were entered) in the original race.
The Brescia-Rome-Brescia route follows, albeit in its variations, that of the original race, keeping the starting and arrival points constant.
